Grace brings a diverse wealth of experience to the table melding together her love of healthcare science and passion for people.
Grace began her career managing customer service, logistics and operations around Crate and Barrel store openings within New York and Florida. Following Grace’s time in retail management, Grace put her BS in Biology from Boston College to practice as a clinical researcher in California. During her tenure, Grace worked with teams of study coordinators and physicians, as well as clients, to determine the safety and effectiveness of various pharmaceuticals. As her family grew, Grace shifted her attention to volunteering at her children’s schools, helping with fundraising and supporting the community.
Any given day, you’ll most likely find Grace spending time with her husband, three boys and their new puppy, Oscar, at home in Denver. On an especially great day, you’ll find Grace reading a book, researching family history and cooking family recipes.
More about Grace
What was your first concert?
Phil Collins officially, but for your reading pleasure, it was Liberace and then Julio Iglesias.
Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about you?
I can read upside down and remember phone numbers from long, long ago.
Who is someone you admire, and why?
My mom. She bravely came to the US, with the wrong luggage and with zero friends or family for support, to start a family here while my dad did his medical residencies and fellowships. When I think of how communication was back in the 70s, and her only link to back home were occasional expensive phone calls and mailed letters, I can’t help but feel amazing respect for her.
What “lesson from mom” do you still live by today?
Always carry cash in your wallet. You just never know...
